Madrid meeting
Discussion about demo courseware In the next images are depicted course appearance characteristics as they could be modified utilising a purposely conceived "configuration page": - large font size and enlarged page elements as they appear to the user; this customisation allow to low-vision users (reduced field, low vision) to recognise all the elements on the screen easily, the background could be eliminated if requested; - medium font sizes and medium button sizes, very near to the "default" value (chosen in case of not-recognised user); it was considered good in most cases and in general a "starting point" to customise the interface on the basis of the user needs; - small font size and small buttons in order to comprise most of the readable contents in a single screen (limiting the utilisation of the scroll bar) All these characteristics may be configured and retrieved as the user digit his/her username in course log in page. Independently from their appearance, the user configurations allow to set the type of feedback (audio and video on user action) and the access mode (via mouse, tab ordered or directly through the keyboard). Possible link to projects The project Leonardo MS NET has invited us to explore the chance to participate to a dissemination event to be held in Madrid. The course realised as demo of Computer Education for All project, is in fact an "ideal" continuation of the didactic materials realised in the Leonardo Ms-NET project.
